The Magic of the Cities.
Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. We are surrounded by magic.
John Greer.
“Photography is an instantaneous operation, both sensory
and intellectual--an expression of the world in visual terms, and also a perpetual quest and interrogation.
It is at one and the same time the recognition of a fact in a fraction of a second and the rigorous arrangement of the forms visually perceived which give to that fact expression and significance.”
Henri Cartier-Bresson
Imaginad que la Tierra es de bronce
y que una golondrina, cada mil años,
la roza con un ala.
Cuando toda la Tierra se haya desgastado
de este modo,
sólo entonces empezara la Eternidad.

that is AMAZING! I wonder if a tall person ever sat there and hit his head on the statues.
What are the people made out of?
I wouldn't be calm there... pensaria que se me van a caer encima... great shot, Carraol!
Jajaja, Dsole, yo pensé lo mismo esta mañana cuando ví la foto por primera vez :). Ahora que le he hechado un segundo vistazo me parece todavía más interesante, cuánto ingenio el de ese artista.
VERY unusual, to say the very least. I'm always impressed by an individual's expression of unique creativity.
Olive, Dsole, Fenix, Kate, thanks for your comments, its most appreciated. I think its enough high for a tall person. This bench is one of my favorite of the 71 benches of this exhibition. Cheers kind ladies.
