The Magic of the Cities.

Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

John Lennon

Central Park (Garden Of Peace) New York City
The Dakota Building. NYC
Entrance The Dakota Building

The Central Park memorial was designed by Bruce Kelly, the chief landscape architect for the Central Park Conservancy. Strawberry Fields was inaugurated on what would have been Lennon's 45th birthday, 9 October 1985, by his widow Yoko Ono, who had underwritten the project.  The entrance to the memorial is located on Central Park West at West 72nd Street, directly across from the Dakota Apartments, where Lennon had lived for the later part of his life, and where he was murdered.

Genial documento. Da la casualidad que llevo toda la mañana escuchando a los Beatles (Sgt. Pepper´s y Abbey road) y de repente entró en tu blog y me encuentro este homenaje a Lennon. Los procesados son maravillosos. Saludos.

It's impossible to imagine Lennon as a 70 year old. These are wonderful shots.

Belas fotos, gosto do P&B e poucas cores vivas, dá uma idéia de melancólica ao mesmo tempo com beleza.
