This is a beautiful shot. Did I see this years ago (it was in the 60's, and my memory obviously is shot), but as I recall the colours were more vivid. The colours on this mural seem more subdued. Perhaps it was a different building in Mexico City? Or perhaps you muted them? I'm just curious.

Ay, que llegue pronto el día que yo pueda visitar México City. Sabes, no sé si ya te lo había dicho, pero yo no tenía noción de la belleza de tu ciudad hasta que descubrí tu blog.

Kate, the subdued colors was because the light, it was a cloudy afternoon, almost raining.
Fenix, que bueno que te guste la ciudad, espero que cuando la visites no te decepciones, toma en cuenta que desafortunadamente Mexico es un pais de grandes contrastes, por mi parte he tratado de mostrar no lo desagradable que vemos en las noticias o en los diarios, tan solo es mi interpretacion personal de lo que miro dia a dia en el transcurso de mis actividades cotidianas, generalmente corriendo como todos. La realidad que nos rodea se nos transforma cuando aprendemos a mirarla con amor, respeto y gratitud y con suerte nos encontramos con momentos para atesorar.

Amigo, me doy cuenta de lo que dices porque es bien cierto y se puede aplicar a la mayoría de las ciudades.
Tu blog muestra la belleza cotidiana de tu ciudad que los medios nunca muestran, al menos, no aquí. Lo que sabemos de México city es que está abarrotada de gente y que tiene muchos problemas de polución. Por lo demás, a nadie jamás se le ha ocurrido mostrar la belleza de sus edificios, su arte, la creatividad de su gente.
Por suerte tú sí lo haces y lo haces muy bien. Tus hermosas fotos circulan alrededor del mundo y trascienden. Tu ciudad no podría tener un mejor embajador.
