The photographic image... is a message without a code. - Roland Barthes |
The Magic of the Cities.
Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

In photography there
is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.

This week's
challenge:
'Luminous'.
'Luminous'.
Daylight
is too easy. What I want is difficult - the atmosphere of lamps and moonlight.

Africam Safari I
Image Collaboration by Chris |
Africam
Safari is the perfect place for adventurers like you. Here you can live
with more than 2,500 animals and 350 species worldwide into the wild.
We are sure you will live a completely different experience from that of traditional zoos, as you can go deep into African-like paths in the fascinating wild world on a safari-like trip by car or one of our buses. It is YOU who will be observed by more than 5,000 eyes.

Beginnings
Man is descended
from a hairy, tailed quadruped, probably arboreal in its habits.
In the long history
of humankind (and animal kind, too) those who learned to collaborate and
improvise most effectively have prevailed.
It is not the
strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives.
It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.
The mystery of the
beginning of all things is insoluble by us;
and I for one must
be content to remain an agnostic.
~Charles
