The Magic of the Cities.

Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

Autumn Prelude

"Clouds of insects danced and buzzed in the golden autumn
light, and the air was full of the piping of the song-birds. Long,
glinting dragonflies shot across the path, or hung
tremulous with gauzy wings and gleaming bodies."
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

"Wild is the music of autumnal winds amongst the faded woods."
William Wordsworth

"How beautifully leaves grow old.
How full of light and color are their last days."
John Burroughs

Performance

“A good street performing act is like a pilot light. People come to it, and some time back in their past they put aside the idea that everybody might be a dancer or an artist or a musician. Everybody has had some such a dream, but they've put it aside and gone on with their humdrum life. And then they see the street performer and see that somebody is managing to get away with it, with life, and managing to live between the cracks. I may never do it they say, but if somebody’s going to do it, it means my dream is still alive and maybe one day I'll do it. It’s not too late. And that’s what a street performer is.”
-Richard Wexler
