The Magic of the Cities.

Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

I'm not sure why, but that could be my all time favourite sculpture, it appeals to my sense of the absurd, and also has a comical nature about it. Thanks for the extra shots at my request, much appreciated!

I agree with John; it's fascinating because it is whimsical. Maximizing the photos gives it more detail, too.

Kate & John, Thanks again. Leonora Carrington main field was Surrealism, most of her work was painting, try: Leonora Carrington: Surrealism, Alchemy and Art by Susan L Aberth. The Hearing Trumpet by herself & Remedios Varo-Unexpected Journeys by Janet A. Kaplan. Pure pleasure for the eyes. Cheers.
