The Magic of the Cities.
Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

Three Rivers Daily Photo
There's a beautiful graphic sense here. It makes me think back to our single visit to Mexico City. We stayed at the Intercontinental, which was dirt cheap because it was Independence Day weekend and there were no business travelers. They sent us to restaurants in Polanco, which mostly had guards in body armor with semi-automatic weapons at the door. The notable exception was Haciana de los Morales on Independence Day itself, which might have been the most fun I've had on a single evening in my life.
Elegant silverware shop - with a great bird statue.
I really like the DOORS photo! We use the ADT security system here in Eagan, too!
Happy New year!
