If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace. ~John Lennon |
The Magic of the Cities.
Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

Unfortunately too many think they need the tv set to find peace.
A more peaceful day would be walking around, seeing what nature has given us. The top scene looks like an early quiet day, full of sunshine and promise.
I have always liked these wide avenues, full of trees.
I like that mixture of nature and concrete on the second photos, as if the trees were trying to survive in this world ... bye !!
It's Lennon's birthday in a coule of days, isn't it? He was a dreamer!
I love the second photo - sky is superb!
