The Magic of the Cities.

Zen promotes the rediscovery of the obvious, which is so often lost in its familiarity and simplicity. It sees the miraculous in the common and magic in our everyday surroundings. When we are not rushed, and our minds are unclouded by conceptualizations, a veil will sometimes drop, introducing the viewer to a world unseen since childhood. ~ John Greer

Forest Flower

“I went to see a band in New York.
The lead singer got on the microphone, and he said
How many of you people feel like human beings tonight?
Then he said
How many of you feel like animals?
And everyone cheered after the animals part.
But the thing is, I cheered after the human being part because I did not know that there was a second part to the question.”
~Mitch Hedberg

I haven't visited for awhile, but I needed to return to see some more of your photos to see "the magic of the cities." This one is definitely the magic of the natural world. Today I feel like a human being; I'll leave the animal world to them (altho we, too, are "animals!")
